Lapeer County Sheriff’s Deputies arrest three men in connection to area home invasions, larcenies

LAPEER COUNTY, MI — The Lapeer County Sheriff’s Department said they have arrested three men in connection to recent home invasions and larcenies in the county.

According to a news release, there is no connection or associations between the three men that were arrested.

A 33-year-old Burton man was arrested and charged for a home invasion that happened on Oct. 15, on Oregon Trail in Elba Township. A 36-year-old man from Lapeer was arrested and charged for stealing items from a home on Mt. Morris Road in Oregon Township that occurred on Dec. 11.

A 32-year-old man was arrested and charged with two counts of home invasion. The first occurred on Johnson Mill Road in Deerfield Township on Nov. 11, while the second happened days later on Hemmingway Lake Road in Marathon Township.

Two of the men arrested were on active probation and parole, according to the Lapeer County Sheriff’s Office.
