Kingwood, Texas According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, a woman in the Kings Manor subdivision of Kingwood was robbed at gunpoint after she answered the door to a man posing as a postal worker, holding a package Friday afternoon.

Authorities said deputies were called to the 21800 block of Whispering Forest, in the Kings Manor subdivision, in Kingwood, Texas, in reference to a home invasion around 12:35 p.m.

Authorities said a woman answered the door when she saw a black male dressed in a postal style uniform. When she opened the door, three additional males with handguns reportedly rushed in the door and started demanding money. Police said the victim was struck in the face, knocked down, and bound in the kitchen. The victim reportedly had four children upstairs, one of which was bound by the suspects.

The suspects allegedly took numerous items, including cash and jewelry, before fleeing the location. One of the children was able to call 911 after the suspects left.
