Two couples were arraigned in 80th District Court December 13 on charges stemming from two home invasions, one October 16 and the second on October 20 near Old State and Stockwell Roads in Greenwood Township.

Officers reported that safes and other personal valuables had been taken from the homes. Police were notified of the break-ins after the residents returned home, Undersheriff Dwayne Miedzianowski reported. After investigating the break-ins, four suspects, all from Harrison, were arrested.

Robert Lucas, 28, was charged with two counts of Home Invasion Second Degree, Safe Breaking and Conspiracy to Commit the crimes. His bond was set at $500,000/10 percent. He remains lodged at the Clare County Jail.

Jessica Lucas, 24, was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Home Invasion Second Degree and with Accessory After the Fact to a Felony. Her bond was set at $20,000/ten percent. She is still lodged at the jail.

Thomas Schreiner, 33, was charged with Home Invasion Second Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Home Invasion and Larceny in a Building. His bond was set at $100,000/ten percent. He has been released on bond.

Janelle Schreiner, 25, was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Home Invasion Second Degree and Accessory After the Fact to a Felony. Her bond was set at $20,000/ten percent. She has been released on bond.

Preliminary Exams for Jessica and Robert Lucas were set for December 23.
