10 Year Old Runs From Armed Insurgent

Ocean County residents are coming to grips with the news this weekend that an armed home invasion forced a 10-year-old child to flee his home, and left a homeowner gagged.

The 10 year-old child ran from his Brick home Thursday after hearing two men forcibly enter the residence at 8:20 p.m., police said.

Then, after the child told neighbors, officers arrived to find the homeowner bound and gagged by the suspects.

By then, the suspects had fled.

Brick Police Captain Robert Mazza said two black men dressed in black, their faces covered in scarves, forcibly entered the home, and one was holding a long barrel gun, the victim reported. . .
