Tulsa, Okla. —

A home invasion suspect chose the wrong house Saturday evening.

Tulsa police say an unnamed suspect knocked on a door near Admiral and 33rd West Avenue around 8:45 p.m.

The homeowner answered the door and was knocked back into his house at gunpoint.

Police say the homeowner then waited until the suspect became distracted and made his move.  The victim was able to take the suspect’s gun and detain him until officers could arrive.

Once in custody, the suspect had to be taken to a nearby hospital for bumps and bruises.  Police say the homeowner wasn’t seriously harmed.
