Police have arrested a man who is suspected of kicking in the door of a Humphreys Street apartment late Monday and robbing two women at gunpoint.

Tyis Crutcher, 21, is jailed in lieu of $365,000 bond on charges of especially aggravated kidnapping, aggravated robbery and use of a gun in the commission of a dangerous felony, according to a statement from Metro police.

Crutcher was nabbed at his residence in the 2400 block of 26th Avenue North by Detective Daniel Turner from the department’s fugitive unit.

A second suspect in the home invasion, 20-year-old Jacquese Allen, was jailed on the same charges soon after the alleged break-in. . .
